Movie Night??

Who's up for a film night?

I was thinking some time Friday/Saturday - because of our time differences for some of us it might be 'film afternoon' or even 'film morning', but if we go with about midnight GMT Saturday night? So that'd be... seven pm EST? I think.

Of course, if you want different times or days, I'm open to suggestions, but we have to bear in mind that some people might still be in regular school hours!

Suggestions for films are also well needed, because if it's left up to me I'm forcing you all to watch Prince of Egypt or the Inbetweeners Movie.

Whatever film you suggest, there'll need to be a valid stream for it somewhere, such as on putlocker or sockshare!!

Well, I for one am fine with the time. As for a suggestion...hmm...I'm fine with anything, but perhaps a comedy? *shrug*

Also I think it's worth mentioning that I have a netflix account that we could use; my computer has pretty nice quality when it comes to livestreaming(I've done it before), so if you can't find a movie on a regular website then that's an option. :3

Ah, yeah, that'd be great! I was planning on using the library's computers, but there's no telling how shitty they might be, so your suggestion sounds better!

I love this idea! I'm fine with just about anything, but I have a fair few DVDs that I'd be willing to attempt to stream. (This includes every Futurama movie, every Monty Python movie (my favorite is Life Of Brian), The Simpsons Movie, and a ton of Disney stuff.)

I'm a little busy this weekend during that day in my timezone, so depending one whatever day/time we decide on, I may be a little late.

I also just realized that I'm not gonna be available on Saturday--I'll be at Fanime! Maybe next week would work?

Okay, so because we want as many people as possible (and we still haven't decided what film to watch yet), movie night is postponed until Saturday 2nd June, same time and place (once we decide a place)?

And from comments so far, something funny and/or animated is on the cards? So is everyone okay with Disney?

Of course, this won't be the only movie night we'll have, so there'll be more than enough opportunities to watch all of the films.

I won't be able to make it if we do it next saturday because i'm going to a con :c
if it works out for everyone else, don't worry about me! i'm sure we can always do it more than once.

but i like bee2's idea of doing two different streams! that way people can still participate, and if someone's crazy enough, they can try to do both, haha.

maybe to solve the whole time issue we could have two streams for the movie? Like...one at evening/night for one timezone, and then another one when it's evening/night for another? since some of us are very far apart?
